A list of services with no client type
"Bookkeeping, tax, payroll, advisory" describes every firm. Who you actually serve — sole traders, construction, e-commerce, practices — is what makes a business recognise itself and get in touch.
Websites for accountants & cpas
Custom websites for accountants and CPAs, built for two very different visitors: somebody panicking about a deadline, and a business quietly deciding to change firm.
Hale & Roth is a KustomSite design concept for the boutique law firm category. It is not a client project and the business is fictional.

What costs you jobs
"Bookkeeping, tax, payroll, advisory" describes every firm. Who you actually serve — sole traders, construction, e-commerce, practices — is what makes a business recognise itself and get in touch.
The single biggest barrier to switching accountant is not knowing whether it costs twice what they pay now. A monthly range by client size removes it; silence guarantees the enquiry never happens.
People imagine changing accountant is difficult and risky. Writing out what actually happens — the professional clearance, who contacts whom, what they need to provide — dismantles the main reason they stay put.
Somebody with a notice in hand needs to know today whether you can help. A generic contact form with no stated response time is not an answer.
What gets built instead
Written for the kind of business you want more of, in the language they use about their own accounts.
With what moves them — transaction volume, payroll, VAT, number of entities. It filters unqualified enquiries and makes you the firm that was straightforward about money.
Professional clearance, the handover, what you need from them and how long it takes. This is usually the highest-converting page on an accountancy site and almost nobody has it.
Separate from the new-client enquiry, because a notice with a deadline on it is a different conversation from onboarding.
Fair questions
They do, and a referred business looks you up before calling — usually alongside the other name they were given. Fees and client type are what they are checking for.
Ranges with the drivers named are still far more useful than nothing, and they are what lets a business self-select before taking up an hour of your time.
Then say so, and say what you would make an exception for. A site that is explicit about who it wants is a filter, and a much better one than a full inbox.

How switching works. Professional clearance, the handover, what you need and how long it takes. It is the page that addresses the actual hesitation, and very few firms have it.
Yes. They become their own route with their own stated response time, so somebody holding a notice is not waiting behind a general new-business enquiry.
